Why do Deeps thrive at work?

Author: Marie E.O. Storlien
At Deepinsight, we are incredibly proud of our eNPS score of 57—a clear sign that we truly thrive and take ownership of the environment we are building together. This is also reflected in the words that come up most often when employees describe our culture: inclusive, warm, and fun.
At Deepinsight, we want to truly understand how employees thrive and experience everyday work. Therefore, we conduct an Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) survey twice a year. It measures how likely we are to recommend Deepinsight as a workplace to others and gives us an honest picture of well-being and engagement in the organization.
In the latest survey, we received a eNPS score of 57, which places us in the category excellent. For comparison, anything above 50 is considered an outstanding result, while the average in many organizations is between 10 and 30 (Questback / Staffbase).
This is a score we are proud of! The result confirms that we thrive and feel ownership of the environment we create together.

A clear finding from the survey is how important belonging and insight are to us. Through weekly company updates (Friday Wave), All Hands and other regular updates, we make sure everyone is included in the company's direction, priorities and progress. Many point out that this creates both transparency and cohesion – and makes it easier to see how each individual contributes to the whole.
We also use measurements and feedback actively to understand how we are doing and what we can do better. Our culture is about celebrating what works, just as much as being honest and decisive when something can be improved. Openness, short decision-making paths and a safe space to speak up are fundamental pillars in the way we work together.
The words that recur when employees describe the culture at Deepinsight are: inclusive, warm and fun. We care about each other, and the flexibility and freedom that is given make it possible to find balance in different stages of life.
In the latest employee survey, we score 89 on psychosocial work environment and 93 on the experience of an inclusive and accepting culture. The results are based on employees' assessments of various statements, where they respond on a scale from 0 to 10, and the average is then converted to a total score from 0 to 100.
The numbers therefore give a clear picture that most people experience high well-being, security and community at Deepinsight.

Learning and development are areas we are constantly working to strengthen. Talented people want to grow, and we want to facilitate that by creating room for professional development, sharing across teams and experimentation in everyday work. At the same time, we are careful to recruit people who are a good addition to our culture and share our values.
Deepinsight is, and will continue to be, an company in development. We learn, test, fail and improve – together. That is how we grow as a company, and as people.
